n so... many ppl have been complaining abt me not updating.haha. been busy.. too busy.. playing. which is not v gd, considering the fact that the finals are drawing near. got back my results today. all were satisfactory except my wonderful grammar paper, which sucked. sachiko onni & i got scared & we've decided to like study every single day from now on. i stepped into the library for the 1st time this semester today. haha. it wasn't too bad. :P n onni & i found this 1000won note stuck in the drinks machine & we spent like 10 mins trying to pull it out. hehe. cause we love drinking lemonade & the other machines didn't have it. hehe. so we ended up getting a free drink! ;) hehe. sachiko onni's always fun. :D
n i snuck into the college of music today & found an empty room to play the piano.. hehe. sachiko came to join me once her korean culture lesson was over & we had fun playing canon in d n other pieces as well. hehe. we shd be heading over more often to do that. :P

aircon jubilee!
n soooo, onni didn't come home last night. haahah. i turned the aircon all the way down to 21degrees & had the best sleep in 5 weeks! :D its 1230pm now & she's still not back. i wonder where she went though.... haha.
i'm glad that the mid terms are over, but i still have the finals to content with though. had lunch with sachiko onni & yuko @ this spaghetti place near sch. my dowoomi brought me there & i fell in love with the pasta. n since sachiko onni loves pasta too, i brought her there & its become our favourite pasta place! but its on the ex side though. abt 8500won per plate. but.... to celebrate the end of the exams, its ok! :D n we headed off to Kyobo @ Gwanghwamun after that. we decided to take bus 273 down just for the fun of it. sachiko onni was tired so she fell asleep, but not before telling me to listen out for the stop. n guess what? i happily fell asleep too & we ended up at edae. haha. the girl beside us was like funny. cause we asked her if we've passed the stop & she was like 네, 많이 지났어요!, which translates to : yes! u've passed it by A LOT! haha.
i think its cool how i've so much in common with sachiko onni. hehe. we're both type O, we don't take breakfast in the morning, we can't drink milk etc... hehe. i think i get along pretty well with type O ppl. hehe. so far, almost all the japanese ppl i've met have been type O. except for onni, who's type B. *ahem*
heading out for ice skating @ Jamsil with Shino, Jenna & Mike! shopping after that too!!! hehe. life's good. ;)

5th June: DMZ Tour!
it was raining on the day we were supposed to go to the DMZ. i guess its both good & bad in a way. good in that the rain helped clear up all the polluted air n stuff, so we cld see north korea clearly. but bad in that it was v v v cold!
the trip was a very good experience. we went on the full day tour which included imjinggak, dorasak station, 3rd tunnel, dora observatory & panmunjeon. i think panmunjeon was the coolest out of them all though. cause it was there that we really got to see north korea up close. :D the whole atmosphere there was pretty tense too. n it was so quiet! the silence was really unnatural. it felt like they were playing a cat & mouse game or something. plus when we went up to the tower, the north korean guard took out his binoculars to look at us as we were happily snapping away. i guess he wanted to intimidate us or something.
our tour guide for the panmunjeon tour was hilariously funny. she would be like. ok. no pointing here. if u point, the north koreans will snap a picture of u n use it as propaganda. n once we were out of that particular area, she would go, ok. u can point all you want now! haha. the tone in which she said it was really funny. haha. i think she didn't even realise how funny she was. :D
there were live bombs ard the area too, with sign posts marking them out. it was kinda freaky though.. haha.
n as usual, i'll let the pictures do the talking!
i like how it says that Doraksan Station is not the last station of the South, but the first station towards the North. :P
standing on the south
i'm in north korea!
the bridge of no return...
