sinchon & edae yesterday!
Jenna & cheongnyangni!
Edae & Singapore Kaya Toast. hehehe
Miligore!
tired but happy!
shopping @ edae was fantastic yesterday! keum yeo can really shop! it was like look, see & buy! we were like super amazed!! i bought 2 pairs of shoes (finally!) & 3 tops. hehe. n i wore them today. we're so going back again to sinchon soon for doctor fish & more shopping! n kangnam station's gd for shopping too. its really cheap. even cheaper than edae i think. for basic stuff. i love shopping! hehe. but i think mike got kinda bored after awhile cause he left halfway. hehe.
keum yeo treated us to dinner! so we like totally love her now. ;) we had fish for dinner, which was totally fab! its like hard to find fish over here in seoul. i guess its probably cause seoul's really far inland, so they eat more meat n stuff.
loads of h/w to do. 600 word essay plus WB n something else i think.. will update abt today real soon!! :D
i <3 the aircon but roomie doesnt....
ok. this is supremely unfunny. i absolutely love the aircon, but my roomie doesn't. i think she has taken to hiding the remote control of the aircon so that i won't turn it on. cause when i came back from sch today with shino, we couldn't find the remote at all! and it was so hot & stuffy in the room. :( n finally shino's sharp eyes managed to spot it hidden behind a box on my roomie's desk. n so yes. i haven't been sleeping with the aircon on since last tues. OMG. super long can. thank God the weather's not that hot yet. otherwise its like ........ its still pretty cool. high 10+ n low 20s at night.. so its tolerable. but after the rainy season, roomie BETTER TURN ON THE AIRCON! otherwise i'll scream. i can't sleep when its too hot! at first i thought it was a japanese thing. so i asked my other japanese classmates & shino, n they said that its cause the aircon's no good for their body. as in it gives them headaches & a dry throat. which is totally like .... to me. but shino says that they'll turn it on when it gets warmer cause its still considered cool to them now. so yes. i hope that roomie will turn it ON ON ON!
n cause roomie's older than me (i call her onnie), i don't really like argue with her. so when the aircon's on, she'ld be like: " I'm turning the aircon off" and NOT " can i turn off the aircon?" OR, she'll just wait till i fall asleep before turning the aircon off. cause i heard a deeet sound while i was sleeping. then it started to get real hot! n u know what? she's like all bundled up in her blankets while i'm like perspiring up there in my shorts & t shirt.
aircon is God's gift to mankind. we shd make full use of it!

supposed to be... but not....
i'm supposed to be memorising my passage, but i'm not. i'm supposed to have the aircon on, but its not. ackkk.
i had a nice dinner made up of egg & udon, which my roomie so kindly made for me. :) omg, the udon's like fab. we have been eating FAKE udon all these years in SG. honestly. the authentic jap ones are the best. :) my roomie was like. now, this is udon. udon's from japan! not korea. n the funny part was like she looked so proud as she said it. hehe. but yes. it was really gd. :) we happily finished one whole pot of it while watching Le Grand Chef.
having a roomie who doesnt speak english is gd & bad. gd = can practice korean. bad = keeping quiet cause u can't really express yrself that well. i think i'm somewhere in btw. or lets just say, i talk when i need to. making conversation is hard sometimes. u know? n i'm not the v v talkative kind. ok. i'm more talkative in english. in korean? its like. i rather wait for u to talk to me. i can answer qns. but its harder to formulate them.
meeting keum yeo, jenna, mike & the rest for lunch tomorrow again!! hopefully NO more spicy food. hur hur hur. n like i told esther. i've a feeling i might just come back with an american accent. hehee. or a china one. but i would rather pick the former. ;) no prizes for guessing y.
more pictures up soon! i'm just too lazy. had to write my diary plus 3 sentences per grammar pattern learnt today. heh.
좀 피곤 것 같아요... 금방 잘아요... ㅋㅋ

After 63 Building comes... Seoul Tower @ Namsan
headed to Seoul Tower the day after we reached Seoul. :P Honestly, i think tt the 63 building was nicer. hehe. but still. since i'm a tourist, might as well just go up right? At least i can say that i've been to Seoul Tower. :D Saw many locks chained to a fence at the observatory deck of Seoul Tower. Its supposed to represent a couple's undying love or something. there were some really creative ones as well as some really cute locks! :P seems such a waste to leave the cute locks there. :P it was a pretty hot & sultry day too.. was perspiring loads! Witch Yoo Hee was filmed there as well. so we got to see the restaurant & all as well. :P pretty cool.

Myeongdong was the last stop of the day after that! we spent practically half the day there? hehe. getting loads of freebies from Skinfood/Face Shop/Etude House/Innifree/Tony&Molly etc etc. basically, any skincare shop tt u can think of. if they were to do this in SG, i think they'ld go out of biz pretty quickly. esp since we SG-eans are known for being 'giam'? haha. perhaps that's why Krispy Kremes doesn't want to open an outlet in SG. with all the free glazed doughnuts being given away, i think they'll probably not get that many customers. after all, why buy when u can get it for free? :P i like Korea in that they are not stingy. even when we buy cosmetics/skincare products, we get loads of freebies & samples. plus their service is so much better. in SG, its hard to even weasel out a small sample sachet from the saleslady, let alone a full miniature set! shopping here's way better. or should i say, its better everywhere. haah.
