i decided to post this first cause it was quite a unique experience for me. it was my 1st time going to a concert of this scale & what i experienced there made me appreciate SG's law & order more.
went for the concert with WS & her friend from America, Pang.
the queuing to get into the stadium was really scary. it was like we were stuck in the middle of a human traffic jam and you could only move with it & not against it. i tried lifting my feet up & just going with the flow & it worked. the ppl just swarmed forward! and all the pushing & shoving was really terrible. the security guys just stood there & shouted at everyone to move back. but of course, no one listened to him at all. the girls were all screaming & shouting! i think the vast majority of them were in middle sch/high sch. i almost fell once or twice, but i really thank God that i managed to stay on my feet. i heard of ppl at other gates who saw 30+ girls who fell on to the ground & with ppl trampling on them as they rushed to get in. it was really freaky.
here's a video of the scene at the gates.
WS said that she saw a metal chain on the ground that was originally meant to keep everyone out, but somehow it got broken in the process. you can just imagine how chaotic it was! after we got through successfully, it was such a different story. no more shoving & pushing. just relief. you could see girls jumping about in exhilaration.
the stadium & the crowd!

i saw this SNSD fan wearing a black jacket with all the pink nametags. hahahha.
i dunno if u guys have heard abt the situation between SNSD's tiffany & Shinhwa's Junjin & the rest. you can read the story here. anyhow, there was a rumour floating around online that the fanclubs were gonna enter into an alliance & boycott SNSD. i thought so too. until i saw it for myself firsthand.
check out the differences between the wondergirls & SNSD and you'll see why.
Wondergirls - So Hot
Wondergirls - Tell Me
SNSD - Girls Generation
the stadium all lighted up with the hps
everyone was boo-ing SNSD while they were singing & its quite sad. some even kept chanting wondergirls wondergirls instead!! halfway through, there was quite a commotion. n loads of screaming & pointing. at first, i wondered why cause it just looked like ppl were removing the banner to make way for fans to sit. its not until i got home & read the reports online that i realised that other fans had cut/torn the Super Junior's FC banner. yes, i was sitting in the middle of them cause there was no other place to sit. my ears hurt after that. they were super loud!! i even saw ppl pour water onto the SNSD fans as well. there were also reports of SNSD fans attacking the other fans with knives and such. i think 2 were sent off to hospital as well. i think they're quite scary! you'll definitely not get this in SG! we're all scared of the police. but here, i think they don't really fear them. i dunno why.
also, after the 1st performance, there were quite a lot of ppl jumping over the barriers & running to the center to get closer to the stage. it was so dangerous! the security ppl ran after them, but they didn't manage to catch them all. WS & I saw a guy who just ran to the center & slid under the bars, all in one motion! The organiser had no choice but to stop the concert halfway & it was delayed by 30 mins! He appealed to them to leave the center area ASAP so that the concert could go on. Also, he said that such an action was degrading the pride of korea & that it would be embarrassing if foreigners saw it. Well, we saw it. & it was really quite disorganised.
the performances by the bands were really good. but the whole experience would have been better if not for the fans. i might be going for SSK's Seoul concert on the 28th. but nothing's confirmed yet though.. :P
