scenery was really breathtaking! the fall colours of red & yellow blended in spectacularly with the majestic ridges of seoraksan. i remember a huge gust of wind sweeping through the area, which caused showers of leaves to fall onto us as we trekked up the mountain. the rustling of leaves as they fell was nothing short of amazing! that plus the lovely weather made it all the more pleasant. didn't manage to reach the summit as we were short on time. however, what we did manage to see along the way was great! fortune tellers & ajummas selling their wares were scattered along the path as we hiked up the trail. 'twas was interesting indeed!
food was so-so. nothing much to shout abt. all our meals looked suspiciously like water with some beef/veg & stock added. n i HATE tofu! y did they have to add it in!!?!? the only saving grace was that the side dishes were yummy. so i ended up eating the side dishes plus rice. anw, i <3 kimchi so all's good. hah.
